I’d like to do some shameless self-promotion.

Here’s a sample of four songs from my upcoming Album, Together, which will be released March 10, 2023. These are songs I’ve written over the past couple of years. All are based on prompts from the Singer Songwriter Challenge FaceBook group I am part of.

I’ve spent much of my time this fall getting the recordings ready to go and ready for release in part with support from grant from Minnesota State Arts Board and with the contribution of some wonderful musicians:

David Miller: piano, keyboards, accordion, percussion
Dave Novak: electric/acoustic/pedal steel guitar
Mike Legvold: bass
Linnea Goodwin: lead and harmony vocals
Wendy Smith: penny whistle
Elaine Boda: cello
Carrie Jennings: lead and harmony vocals
Todd Thompson: harmony vocals
And choir made up of Nigel Egg, Michael Koppelman, Laura Stelter, Wendy Smith, Rachel McIver-Morey, Carrie Jennings, Linnea Goodwin, Todd Thompson, David Miller.

This was all then mixed and mastered by Troy Foss at Supple Studios in Bemidji, MN. I really hope you’ll keep your eyes open for its release and maybe I’ll see you on March 10 or 18 (or some other future gig). More about that here
